Getting Here

Onepone Forest Adventure is located in the Volta Highlands near Amedzofe and Biakpa, in Ghana’s Volta Region. The forest can be accessed through Amedzofe, Biakpa, and other surrounding communities. If you are travelling from Accra or Kumasi, allow enough time for the journey and the final approach to the forest.

Coming to Onepone? Bring sturdy, comfortable shoes, drinking water, and a rain layer. The weather in the highlands can change quickly, so it is best to come prepared for both sunshine and rain.

Travelling from Accra or Kumasi?

  • Accra → Onepone Forest Adventure: 188 km / approximately 3 hours
